There are 2 ways of getting violations you can be reported by the community and receive a violation notice and then C/C can decide it is a violation and you get another one.—Community reports only take away the two points for answering,if you appeal and lose it will cost you an extra 10 points.
The other violation hits you with a 12 point deduction straight away and you risk nothing with appeal.
